BMAC is a concentrate of regenerative stem cells obtained from your own bone marrow. Stem cells are captured by aspirating bone marrow from the patient’s pelvis. One can expect only minimal discomfort from the procedure. The aspirate includes platelets, mesenchymal stem cells, and other kinds of stem cells used in adult stem cell therapy. The bone marrow is placed inside a special machine and this process separates the platelets and stem cells from the remainder of the blood products. It is this concentration of bone marrow—called BMAC, or bone marrow aspiration concentrate—that is reintroduced to the injured area during stem cell therapy.

HCT/P* Human Cellular Tissue Products (stem cells) are isolated from healthy donated umbilical cord by FDA-registered clinical laboratories where they perform extensive testing to ensure the product's safety. Human cellular tissue products (stem cells) use their healing and growth components, along with mesenchymal stromal cells, to help you heal. Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, or Medicinal Signaling Cells, are your body’s ‘master cells’. The reason that they are sometimes called master cells is because they are multi potent. That means that these types of stem cells can develop into more than one cell type. So if you have a joint problem, they can become joint cells and help cushion, reduce inflammation and hopefully help your joint. If you have a tendon problem, they can become tendon cells and hopefully help your tendon as well as cartilage, muscle, ligaments or other types of cells needed to perhaps help your area of pain or injury. This treatment/procedure is currently FDA regulated. In fact the FDA now requires us to call them HCT/P not stem cells.  

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient's own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles. PRP injections are prepared by taking from one to a few tubes of a patients own blood and then centrifuging the blood to concentrate the platelets. These activated platelets are then injected directly into your injured or problem body tissue. This releases growth factors that stimulate and increase healing.  

Nutraceuticals are substances that have both therapeutic and nutrient effects. There are extracts, concentrates, or combinations of vitamins, minerals, botanicals, herbs or dietary substances. Nutraceuticals have been the basis of pain management in Europe for over 100 years. We source our Nutraceuticals from only the most reputable companies. Our patients tell us it's wonderful to not inject steroids and get the same result in pain relief without the side effects. 

Homeopathic Remedies use natural substances to effectively treat pain and problems. It is considered to be a safer form of treatment as there are no side effects linked to Homeopathies. Your body naturally makes hyaluronic acid. It's a natural part of the fluid that helps lubricate and cushion your joints and keeps them working smoothly. When you have osteoarthritis (OA), the hyaluronic acid in the affected joint thins. Hyaluronic acid injections add to your body's natural supply. (IASTM) Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization is a skilled myofascial intervention used for soft-tissue treatment. It is applied using instruments that are usually made of stainless steel with beveled edges and contours that can conform to the body. IASTM is a skilled intervention that includes the use of specialized tools to manipulate the skin, myofascia, muscles, and tendons by various direct compressive stroke techniques.  Studies have addressed the benefits of IASTM at the cellular level. The inflammatory response initiated through micro trauma to the affected tissues results in increased fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, maturation and the remodeling of unorganized collagen fiber matrix following IASTM application. Which result in a breakdown of scar tissues, adhesions and facial restrictions.
