Dr. Greg Millar, DC CPFM CCEP ASBCE is Chiropractic Director for Advanced Medical Clinics. He is originally from Cullman, Alabama. As a teen he won  a scholarship to Woodward Academy Prep-school in Atlanta Ga. While there, he dual enrolled at Ga Tech and studied electrical engineering obtaining his FCC 1st Class Engineering License. (His family was in broadcasting). But his love was always medicine. He then graduated summa cum laude honors from Barry University, Miami Florida with Bachelor's of Applied Science (BAS) Human Physiology with a Minor in Biochemistry, a Minor in Kinesiology Exercise Science and a minor in Integrative Medicine. He has been practicing Chiropractic since 1997 after graduating magna cum laude honors from Life University, College of Chiropractic. While at Life University, he was President of the Student Body and was elected to the World Council of Chiropractic. 

     In addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he earned his PhD from the California College of Natural Medicine. He also holds the CPFM - (Certified Practitioner of Functional Medicine) designation from the American College of Functional Medicine. He has completed additional courses in functional medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine, Functional Medicine University and Harvard Medical School, Dept of Continuing Education. Dr. Millar is also Certified by National University of Health Sciences in Injectable Nutritional Medicine having completed the additional Alabama Board of Chiropractic approved postgraduate training and examination to preform (IV) intravenous therapy; (IM) intra-muscular injections; (JI) joint injections and (TPI) trigger point injections. He is also Certified by National University of Heath Sciences in administration and dispensing of nutrient supplements;  nutraceuticals; homeopathic remedies, amino acids; peptides; fatty acids; enzymes and antioxidants; botanicals and phytonutrients; food concentrates and extracts; vitamins and mineral;; compounds and compounded products. Dr. Millar does not prescribe or use prescription drugs in the treatment of patients. Dr Millar also holds the CCEP - (Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner) designation from the Council of Chiropractic Extremity Adjusting; and, he is certified in the treatment of extremities (hips, knees, ankles, feet - shoulders, elbows, wrist, hands). Dr Millar is also Certified in Dry Needling. 

     Dr. Millar practiced for 13 years with the neurosurgeons of Univ of Alabama Birmingham, Dept of Neurosurgery handling their cases before and after surgery. He has treated thousands of herniated an bulging disc patients (both neck and low back) over the years with decompression traction, lasers and conservative care. While practicing with UAB he helped develop the UAB Department of Neurosurgery Chiropractic Care Team. In fact, the Neurosurgeons of UAB saw patients at his chiropractic clinic for many years.

      Dr. Millar was elected by his piers in 2022 to serve on the Alabama State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the governing body for Chiropractic for the State of Alabama. He is Past President of the United Chiropractic Association of America (UCAA). Dr Millar was UCAA Chiropractor of the Year twice.  Dr. Millar taught Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, and Biology at the colligate level and Physiotherapy at the Chiropractic Post Graduate level. ​
